Celebrating Diwali
Diwali, also referred to Deepavali or Dipavali, is a celebration of peace, prosperity, and the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. It’s the biggest holiday celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains across the world and brings people together for five days of fireworks, feasts, rituals and exchanging greetings and gifts between family members and close friends. Diwali typically coincides with harvest and new year, which is why it’s typically celebrated between October and November, with the date changing every year. This year, Diwali will be observed on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Happy Diwali!
