SmashUps™ are fun, personalized digital greetings that call out your friends and family by their first name through the magic of video and animation. These highly customizable wishes might even let you pick the age, location or hobby of your recipient. Whether your SmashUp speaks, sings, scats or yodels, it’s sure to amaze someone special.

Ecards are like greeting cards come to life with motion, sound and thousands of images and messages. As digital greetings, you can connect with friends in just a few clicks through text, email or social media. Essentially, they take the time-honored tradition of paper-and-ink cards and move the whole party to your desktop or phone!

Creatacard™ is a customizable, virtual greeting card experience that allows you to send birthday, seasonal or everyday wishes to friends and family digitally or as a print-at-home greeting card. You can add photos like a pro, choose music, type a personal message, even add a signature and design the envelope. In short, Creatacard™ makes you the art director, master designer and author while your computer, tablet or phone is the post office delivering your pics, your words and your awesomeness in seconds.

Once you have purchased a subscription, you can print and send an unlimited number of Creatacards at no additional cost! You also get our members-only tools all for one low subscription price.

We accept the following methods of payment:

- Credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express

- Bank-issued debit cards from Visa and Mastercard

- PayPal: Use your PayPal account without sharing your bank or credit card details

- An electronic check process, called ECHECK*, that allows us to accept checking information from any US bank

*This process costs an extra $2.95 for electronic handling, and it is added to your membership cost.

All methods of payment are secure, safe and simple.

In order to allow our customers an opportunity to try our Products and Services, occasionally we offer a free trial during which customers register for Membership and enjoy many of the Membership benefits. If you sign up for a trial period and cancel during such trial period the payment information provided will not be billed. If you do not cancel during the trial period we will automatically charge your credit card the Subscription fee.

American Greetings does offer a limited selection of free ecards.

To locate them, type the word "free" in the search field at the top of the AmericanGreetings.com website. The word "free" will display with the title for each free card.

You can also send any of our ecards for free when you sign up for a 7-day free trial membership.

For USA and Canada resident customers, the subscription fee advertises the price for your membership, and it does not include taxes. However, we may be required to collect tax based on local tax requirements in your country, state, territory, county or city. These amounts can change over time and are based on the information you provided and the applicable tax rate at the time your membership began or as it is subsequently renewed.

For UK and EU resident customers, the subscription fee shows the total price for your membership, including VAT at the standard rate applicable in your country.

When becoming a member, we ask you for account information so that we can bill to your account our low yearly membership fee. In order to verify that the account information given to us is accurate, a preauthorization fee is charged to the account to verify that it is an active account.

This charge is placed ahead of time so that your account can be processed effectively and efficiently. Once the account is validated, the charge is reversed from your account shortly thereafter.
